A reliable internet connection forms the basis of virtually every modern organisation. Cloud solutions, Microsoft 365, telephony, VPN connections, security solutions and digital collaboration all depend on stable and secure connectivity.

Not every organisation has the same requirements, however. While some businesses are well served by a single internet connection, other organisations deliberately choose redundancy, multiple locations, fibre connections or alternative connections such as Starlink to safeguard continuity.

B/Focused supports organisations in selecting, implementing, migrating and managing business internet connections and connectivity solutions that align with performance, availability, security and future growth.

Why the right internet connection matters

Reliable connections

A stable internet connection forms the basis for modern digital workplaces, cloud environments and business processes.

Optimal performance

The right connection contributes to better performance of cloud applications, telephony, video calling and collaboration tools.

Continuity & redundancy

By using multiple connections or failover solutions, the impact of outages can be significantly limited.

Support for multiple locations

Connect branches, home workers and external locations securely to each other via suitable connectivity solutions.

Future-proof infrastructure

Fibre, wireless connections and modern network architectures make organisations better prepared for growth and changing needs.

Independent advice

We don’t advise from the perspective of a single provider, but look at the solution that best matches your organisation’s objectives and requirements.

Which connectivity solutions do we support?

Fibre connections

Fibre offers organisations a stable and scalable basis for cloud solutions, Microsoft 365, telephony, video calling and business-critical applications.

Redundant connections

By combining internet connections, the impact of outages can be limited. If one connection fails, it can automatically switch to an alternative connection.

For locations where traditional connections are limited, or as an additional failover solution, Starlink can offer an interesting alternative for business connectivity.

Shared business premises

Support with shared internet facilities, separated networks for tenants, fibre connections and connectivity within shared business premises.

5G connections with fixed IP address

For locations where fibre is not available, or as an additional redundant connection, we support solutions based on 5G with a fixed IP address for reliable and flexible connectivity.

Temporary internet connections

For relocations, construction sites, temporary offices, events or project sites, temporary internet solutions can be deployed so that staff have a working connection right away.

Coax connections Ziggo Zakelijk

Not every location has fibre readily available. Depending on the available infrastructure, we support organisations with business connections via fibre, coax, cable and hybrid solutions.

Connection management & periodic evaluation

Within Technology Alignment, we periodically assess whether existing connections, contracts, capacity, redundancy and provider choices still match the organisation’s needs.

Reference case: internet as a managed service

For various shared business premises, we provide the full internet facility for tenants as a managed service. In doing so, we supply the internet connections, handle the technical management and act as the point of contact for outages and changes.

Depending on the wishes of the property owner, costs can be passed on via the lease agreement or invoiced directly by B/Focused to individual tenants. This creates a single central point of contact for connectivity, support and billing within the building.

This approach reduces the management burden for property owners, raises the quality of service towards tenants, and provides a scalable solution in which connectivity is offered as a fully managed service.

Frequently asked questions

What does connection management involve?

Within Technology Alignment, connections can be periodically assessed on capacity, availability, redundancy, contractual arrangements and future needs so that connectivity keeps aligning with the organisation.

Do you have experience with shared business premises?

Yes. For various shared business premises we provide internet facilities, management, support and billing for tenants, with connectivity offered as a managed service.

Can you supply temporary internet connections?

Yes. For relocations, project sites, events, new-build locations or temporary workplaces, temporary internet facilities can be arranged.

Do you support Ziggo Zakelijk, KPN Zakelijk and other providers?

Yes. We work with various suppliers and connection types. This allows us to advise which connection best matches the organisation’s availability, performance and objectives.

Can you connect multiple locations to each other?

Yes. We support organisations with secure connections between multiple locations, business premises, home workplaces and cloud environments.

Yes. Starlink can be an interesting solution for locations where fibre is limited, for temporary locations, or as an additional connection within a redundant infrastructure.

When should I choose redundant internet connections?

Organisations that are heavily dependent on internet, cloud solutions, telephony or multiple locations often choose redundant connections so that the impact of an outage is significantly limited.
